Courtney Rile

is known as a video editor and arts entrepreneur.  Rile was raised in the Philadelphia area where she started her work as a professional video editor. She graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Video Art and went on to work as an experimental filmmaker and still photographer across three feature films, five documentaries and production companies in four states.  She served for 4 years on the board for the Syracuse International Film Festival and currently sits on the board for the Society for New Music.  You will find she has an engaging smile and easy personality.

Rile’s video art and photography has been shown in Syracuse, NY, at The Everson Museum of Art, Roji Tea Lounge, Gear Factory, Spark Contemporary Art Space, Light Work, GallerY, as part of the Syracuse International Film Festival, Syracuse One Take Super 8 Event, broadcast on Manhattan News Network in NY, NY, and shown internationally in London, UK at Lounge Gallery & Studios and in Seville, Spain as part of the VIII Festival Audiovisual zemos98.

Throughout the last decade, Rile has also worked as an art exhibition coordinator, director of communications, curator of visual and media arts, journalist, adjunct professor and guest speaker. She continues to organize art exhibitions and other interesting events alongside her work with Daylight Blue.
